Dr. Christopher Reed
Dr. Christopher Reed
Dr. Reed graduated from Dorman High School, Roebuck, South Carolina in 2004. He attended North Georgia College and State University from 2004 to 2008, graduating with a degree in Biology. After college, he worked as a Veterinary Assistant at West Spartan 2009-2012 before being accepted to and attending Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama, graduating summa cum laude in 2016. In his spare time, Dr. Reed enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities.
Nikki Headrick
Nikki Headrick, Hospital Manager
Nikki and her husband, Ryan, moved to the Upstate from the Charlotte area four years ago. With over 18 years of management experience in the veterinary field, Nikki is passionate about providing the best possible care to her clients and supporting her team.
Carolyn Owens
Carolyn Owens, Veterinary Assistant
Carolyn works with us part-time and speaks Spanish, which is very helpful. She loves to spend time with her family and pets. Carolyn has several dogs, cats, and chickens.
Stevie Poulnott

Stevie enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She has two dalmatians and a dachshund. Stevie likes being with her co-workers and how every day is different.
Crissy Moss
Crissy Moss, Veterinary Assistant
Crissy is the mother of three girls and seven dogs. She is family-oriented and enjoys being at home spending time with her family. She loves to clean and organize. Crissy loves helping pets and their families.
Bella Ball
Bella Ball, Veterinary Assistant
Bella enjoys attending church and is involved in various activities, including the youth group ministry. She enjoys working with animals. In her spare time, Bella enjoys being outdoors, hiking and watching Gilmore Girls.
Taylor Satterfield
Taylor Satterfield, Veterinary Assistant
Taylor is new to our team, but previously worked as a veterinarian assistant for 10 years. Taylor adores spending time participating in outdoor activities with her two daughters. On the weekends, she enjoys being at the dirt track with her friends and family.
Haley
Haley, Veterinary Assistant
Haley enjoys spending time with her family and with her 2 dogs (Charlie and JoJo) and cat (Binx) at home. She is currently studying to become a certified veterinary assistant. She has a passion for animal health and loves being a part of the west spartan team.
Gloria Neely
Gloria Neely, Client Service Representative
Gloria was raised in Cashiers, North Carolina, and moved to South Carolina in 1995. Gloria has always had a love for animals! She began working at West Spartan in 1997 and is grateful for all the people that animals have brought into her life. Gloria is the proud mom of four dogs, three cats, three pond goldfish, and a ring-neck dove, all of which have a story on how they came into her life.
Chris Chumley
Chris Chumley, Client Service Representative
Chris is from Woodruff, South Carolina, and joined the West Spartan family in 2006. Chris enjoys riding RZRs. Chris has a beautiful pet rooster.
Debbie Clark
Debbie Clark, Client Service Representative
Debbie has been a client at West Spartan since 1998 but joined our family as a receptionist in 2017. Debbie has a passion for animals and is always willing to help an animal in need. She thoroughly enjoys her job and will help out wherever needed. She enjoys spending time with her family, and she has two dogs and a cat.

Courtney, Client Service Representative
Courtney has previously worked in vet medicine as a receptionist 4 years. Courtney adores going outdoors and fishing on the weekends. She also enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her tree Pets at home. Courtney has a passion for animals, and is always willing to help an animal in need.
Neely
Neely, Client Service Representative
Neely and her family have been with West Spartan since she was a toddler. Neely has always had a love for any and all things, especially the ones with fur. Her hobbies include riding her horses, spending time with her dog, Oaklie, and spending time with family and friends.
